- My other favorite is a long ski at the Canmore Nordic Centre with my kids and a Thermos full of homemade hot chocolate by the fireplace!
Why do I Coach?:
- To pass on my love of skiing, encourage life-time participation in the sport and to help others be the best they can be, on and off the slopes. I am always encouraged when I am passed in a race by my 77 year old x-ski coach (Dr. Gary Gibson – “Gibber”) who is still skiing, and still beating me! He taught me, “You can cry, but you can’t quit.” I hope to pass on the love skiing and winning attitude to the kids and parents. I love to see the changes in the children as they conquer new skills, gain self-confidence and just have fun on the slopes!
