We offer a comprehensive program for the Rookie skier or the Veteran alike.. New for this year - Seventeen weeks to the Cookie Race a program for Rookie skiers who want a taste of Cross Country skiing events.. We are an EVENT focused ski club and we strongly also encourage participation in the ABCup circuit stops in Canmore, December and March.

This seventeen week program will get you started with a few Dryland sessions - going immediately onto snow in November with our traditional Xmas break culminating in the Cookie Race Feb 25, 2012. Running Mondays/Wednesdays and 1-2 weekend dates/month from Oct 11-Feb 25, 2012.

For the veteran who has a long term focus e.g. ABCup Circuit or the Western Canadian Championships in Canmore January 20-22, 2012/Mt. Ste. Anne, P.Q. March 20-27, 2012 ; may we suggest Dryland Ski Conditioning and Masters sessions. Dryland Ski Conditioning details:

DSC sessions starting September 12 - November 30, 2011 will be Mondays/Tuesdays/Thurs/Sat/Sun with Wed starting October 12, 2011.
Yes, you can train with the group 6 days a week.
A 20% discount is applied for post secondary students age 19-26(Age group on Dec 31 on the year the ski season ends eg. 26 y.o on Dec 31, 2012).

Each day's activities will be:
Tuesdays/Thursdays Rollerskiing 7-8:30Pm.
Mondays/Wednesdays only starting October 12, 2011. Circuit Training & Nordic Walking 7-8:30Pm.
Saturdays will be Hiking or the occasional day at the Canmore Nordic Centre to get out of town.
Sundays Rollerskiing 9-11Amish.

Adult Skill Improvement 16-61+ - Technique Focus Mondays/Wednesdays.
Masters & Age Group Skiers 19-61+ - Fitness Focus Tuesdays/Thursdays.
